Dear Patient,

The replacement of a joint with an endoprosthesis is a major intervention in the body that should be well considered - because it is irreversible. Precise diagnostics and careful indication should precede the decision to replace a joint. It should also be considered whether there are alternative, less invasive treatment methods that can help to avoid arthroplasty, at least temporarily.

We are happy to support you in this decision by providing a second opinion and reviewing your medical records. We will check for you whether the diagnostics were carried out using the most modern and best methods, because only a precise inventory of the changes in your joint will allow you to make an informed decision regarding the best treatment approach. If necessary, we recommend supplementing the examinations with the most modern imaging methods. We will also advise you in detail regarding the indications, especially with regard to joint-preserving, regenerative treatment methods. Let us advise you, because the decision to have an artificial joint replacement is irreversible.
