Translational Medicine
Works in Progress
ANOVA IRM practises translational medicine: findings from basic research and early clinical studies are applied to individual patients before an approval exists. For some conditions our own experience is still limited. We list these openly here, base our assessment on the published literature, and state explicitly what we do not claim.
Our three treatment principles
- The individual therapeutic attempt as the basis for administration — every experimental treatment is considered individually, not by fixed protocol, and is recognised in German medical practice [R5–R6]; the products themselves are always manufactured under official authorisation.
- Full disclosure — we name the available studies and their limits, including negative results.
- The right to self-determination — a moral right of informed, competent adults. The only limit we set is a risk we consider too high.

Affiliations of ANOVA
ANOVA IRM shares its premises in Offenbach with two further institutions owned by Dr. Stehling: the Institut für Bildgebende Diagnostik (IBDO), providing MRI and CT imaging, and the Vitus Prostate Center. Because imaging is carried out in the same building, condition-specific diagnostics — including CT-guided procedures — are performed in-house rather than referred elsewhere. See diagnostics at ANOVA IRM.
